Topaz is a fluorine aluminum silicate that exists in a variety of colors including yellow, e.g., lemon topaz, brown, blue, green, red, and pink. The yellow variety, called honey or lemon topaz, is most abundant. It is often confused with Citrine, which is a much lighter and more ubiquitous stone.
Symbolism, Legend, and Healing Properties: Topaz is associated with good physical and mental health. The Greeks believed it had the power to make its wearer invisible. Romans associated topaz with good eyesight.
